Wikipedia and Academic Research

AU Library and Scholarly Resources is offering an instructional webinar on Wikipedia and Academic Research on Tuesday, March 15, from 6 to 7 pm (MDT).

Did you know that many students turn to Wikipedia, the free, collaborative online encyclopedia when carrying out research for assignments and papers?

Wikipedia for research

But is Wikipedia ever appropriate to use for academic research? With this webinar, AU librarians will let your students know more about the do’s and don’ts of using Wikipedia for university course work.

The recording will be available shortly after the session.
