The Hub AU Press takes part in Manifold pilot program

AU Press takes part in Manifold pilot program

Exciting news: AU Press is the recipient of a competitive grant from Manifold!

The Manifold team has selected Athabasca University as one of ten groups to receive training sessions and support to help meet digital publishing goals.

AU Press has been searching for ways to offer their open access content in a more enriched and engaging environment than a downloadable PDF, and Manifold provides just that!

Manifold is an open-source, web-based publishing platform that easily integrates the publication of networked and enhanced e-books with existing publication workflows. The platform will allow publishers to include archival documents, audio and video, and other elements into their publications, in addition to offering readers and users the opportunity to annotate, share, and comment.

“We're so excited to be working with AU press, the first open-access press in Canada, to create a collaborative space for writers and readers!”

– Manifold Scholarship

The installation and training for these ten publishers (including AU) is supported by a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Congratulations, AU Press!
