Don’t forget to apply for awards and bursaries

Application deadlines approaching for Athabasca University (AU) scholarships, awards, and bursaries.

At AU, we know how important it is for you to complete your degree—and the hundreds of awards, bursaries, and scholarships available to you can make it easier! There are several awards, bursaries, and scholarships with application deadlines in summer 2021 that can help you reach your educational goals.

A full listing of available awards can be found on the Student Awards page. While some awards are available to all learners, many have been created specifically for program students.

Donor supported

There are a variety of funding sources for AU awards and bursaries, many of which are supported by AU community members through charitable donations.

The Athabasca University 50th Anniversary I-CARE Competition Bursary assists AU graduate and undergraduate program students continue their education free of interruption due to financial need.

The AU Undergraduate Student Bursaries assists AU program students continue their education without interruption due to financial need.
