New software requirements for ProctorU
Athabasca University students who use ProctorU to invigilate their online exams will need to upgrade their software for any exams they will write after 10 a.m. MST on Tuesday, July 16, 2019.
The next exam you take with ProctorU may look a little different. Please do not worry, this is just an update to their service! Here are a few changes you may experience:
- Chrome or Firefox is required.
- You need to download an extension to connect with your product.
- When you click to start your exam, the design will look updated.
ProctorU is updating its systems, and students will need to ensure they are using the correct software prior to taking their exam. This includes any exams students have already scheduled, as well as potential future, yet-to-be-scheduled exams.
Detailed information about system requirements, and instructions to download the new extension, can be found on the ProctorU website here. For more information about using Proctor U for your AU exams, you can read frequently asked questions here.
