TalkCampus is looking for support volunteers
Current AU learners have access to TalkCampus, which is a mobile app offering learners peer-to-peer support when they need to talk to someone in a safe and anonymous space. The peer supporters are volunteers in the buddy program who are trained by TalkCampus with the skills to offer online support to a global community of peers.
Volunteer buddy program
The volunteer program is currently looking for caring people to join the next cohort in mid-February. This opportunity provides flexibility and is designed to fit into your schedule, there are no designated shifts. Volunteers are provided with training which can be done at their own pace.

Benefits of volunteering
The time commitment is flexible. If you need a break, take it. Your mental health is always a priority.
Your contribution to the program will be acknowledged after six months of volunteering with a Certificate of Service and are eligible for a reference. That means, you can add it to your resume.
If you are a caring and compassionate person who wants to be a part of a global community that helps others and leaves a positive and meaningful impact on their lives, register to be a volunteer in the buddy program with TalkCampus before the next cohort starts soon, so sign up today if you’re interested.
“I found the training really helpful; it gave me proper insights into the role of being a buddy, it equipped me with important skills to be able to perform that role well...”
