Convocation 2021
Convocation is an important milestone for AU’s learners—a culmination of hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and perseverance. It is a special time for all of us at AU as well and we look forward each year to celebrating the graduands’ achievements.
Convocation 2021 will be held virtually on June 11, 2021.
As we continue to navigate this ever-changing global pandemic together, our first concern is keeping everyone safe: our learners, our team members, and our wider AU community.
Planning is already underway so that we can focus on bringing our graduands the best possible experience in every way. As you may know, we held our first-ever virtual convocation in October 2020, and we learned a lot. Our Convocation team is incorporating the feedback we received to make this convocation even better than the first.
Convocation represents years of hard work and sacrifice, not only for the graduands, but also for their families, friends, and colleagues. We recognize the importance of celebrating the achievements of our graduands in a meaningful way.
Convocation 2021 will be held on a virtual platform that will be able to be viewed on any device, across all platforms, incorporating the well-loved elements of a traditional convocation but with a virtual twist.
