Celebrating the finale of Beyond 50
It may be the end of our 50th anniversary celebrations, but it’s only the beginning of moving Beyond 50—as we look forward to a rich future of transforming lives and transforming communities.
2020 was a tumultuous year. Being faced with a global pandemic meant our lives were turned upside down, sideways, and everything in between; we faced challenges that we didn’t even know existed. No one will ever forget how the world was before, and the monumental shift that took place over the year.
While our plans for Beyond 50 had to evolve over the year and as the shift to online touched nearly every part of our lives, it also elevated what AU has been doing best for the last 50 years. As a leader in online education, we thought creatively and were fortunate to find new ways to celebrate our 50th anniversary.
This year could not have been possible without our AU community—thank you for being a part of AU.

Introducing AU@Home, AU’s first cookbook!
Everyone has a memory of cooking, whether it is working on the perfect omelette, the smell of the cookies your grandma used to make, or creating a meal and sharing with your loved ones. That’s what inspired us to ask our team members and learners to submit the recipes that they love and the reason those recipes are special to them.
We wanted to create this cookbook as a thank you for participating in our 50th celebrations and we hope you enjoy these recipes, take the time to make them, and share with your loved ones to create new memories.
