AU Study: a playlist by John Michael Hebert

There’s nothing like finding the perfect soundtrack. Whether it’s an instrumental playlist for studying or upbeat tunes for starting your Monday morning on the right track, music plays an important role in our daily lives. John Michael curated our first playlist built for an focused study session.

After we started our Spotify account and uploaded a few playlists, we wanted to see what you were listening to while you studied and have a learner curate the first study playlist.

We received a bunch of amazing responses—ranging from post-rock from Montreal’s Godspeed You! Black Emperor to French DJ and Producer, Petit Biscuit. We were amazed by the range of styles (and volume) that inspire you!

Our first learner-curated playlist comes from John Michael Hebert who is working on a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Political Science with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. His playlist is built for “relaxation or a focus while studying; great background music.”
