2017 Dean’s Award for Coaching Excellence
The Dean’s Award for Coaching Excellence recognizes outstanding coaching by Faculty of Business graduate level academic coaches.
This distinguished award for excellence in coaching is given annually in recognition of the notable achievements in the following areas: excellence in presentation of subject matter, innovation of delivery, sustained achievements in coaching, and high standards of service to students.
This year’s recipient is Dr. Linda Bramble, Academic Coach, Leadership. Linda’s students and colleagues had many kind words to share with her. “I am a better leader for her guidance and I found what she taught me immensely valuable. I’m using this every day at work now, it was my good fortune to have been in her class,” said one of her students. Faculty of Business Dean, Dr. Deborah Hurst, shared kind words about Linda as well, “your exquisite brain is something to humble all of us.”
Upon receiving the award, Linda said that she was, “very grateful to be among such wonderful, thoughtful, caring leaders and educators. Just to be among all of you – such dedicated people, it’s just a thrill for me.”
