Athabasca University political experts break down front runners, policies, and election prospects

This coming Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, members of the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) will select a new leader. The winner will lead the party in Canada’s next federal election after their previous leader, Erin O’Toole, was unable to claim victory.   

To help us better understand the importance of the leadership campaign, the emerging candidates Jean Charest and Pierre Poilievre, their policies, and how each will lead, we sat down with Athabasca University (AU) political science professors Dr. Paul Kellogg and Dr. Mark Crawford to discuss.
